It’s been a year of blessing for Hope for Children Ministries. So many lives have been changed through child sponsorship, and it’s been amazing to witness the transformation that has happened in just a few short years.
Take Ariane for instance. When we first met Ariane and her family, they were living in a small mud house. Since she became sponsored, her parents were able to take the money they would have had to spend for school and use it toward making a better life for their family.
Today, Ariane’s family is living in a home with cement walls and floors and furniture! Her dad is working to fix up the front section of the house to be a shop to sell things. And Ariane—well, she’s thriving in a school that teaches about Jesus and is preparing her for a successful future. Thanks be to God for child sponsors.
And thanks be to God for ministry supporters. Behind every sponsored child is an infrastructure that needs financial support, particularly the Hope for Children International School.
So many people have stepped up to give regularly to not only get the school built, but to help us expand it, staff it, and maintain it. The school educates nearly all of our sponsored children and is also a place where homeless street kids have found refuge, a place where they experience the love of Jesus and the possibility to learn.
I’m so grateful to God for his continued provision for Hope for Children through friends like you.
