When Hope for Children Ministries set out to help the children in Rwanda, I didn’t know much about business plans and budgets. But I knew deep in my spirit that I was being called to be part of what God was doing. My perceived lack of ability forced me to continually rely on Jesus in a new and profound way—and that reliance continues.
I never imagined all that God had in store for Hope for Children Ministries—and I’m thankful for that. Following my ideas would have only limited God’s work. Letting Him lead has made the journey such an adventure as I see His plans unfold right before my eyes. Every step of the way, it’s been Him setting the pace, pointing me in the right direction, and giving me the courage to step forward—even when I couldn’t see how things would work.
Hope for Children Ministries has faced challenges. But Jesus has taught me to see these moments as opportunities for me to remain dependent on Him—and for me to see Him work through the hearts of friends like you.
That’s why I need you to know you’re a vital part of this ministry!
Hope for Children Ministries and Hope for Children International School exist because people give of their finances. The ministry is donor supported and does not receive support from the Rwandan government.
As I’ve shared in prior updates, we need an additional $2,000 per month through September to cover an unexpected government mandated teacher wage increase. Next year we will cover this cost in our annual operating budget.
If you would consider a special gift to help us cover the additional need of $2,000 per month, or even sign up for a monthly recurring gift, I would be so grateful.
I would also be grateful for your help in reaching a larger audience, so I can share with others what God is doing at Hope for Children Ministries. I believe God will stir the hearts of more people to join with us to sponsor children and contribute financially to support the operations of Hope for Children International School.
