Thank you for supporting Hope for Children Ministries. Your generosity has helped to bring the love of Jesus to children and parents living in the grip of poverty.
As I reflect on God's faithfulness from this past year, I once again am in awe of the way God works His plan through His people. And He often allows challenges in our lives to give us the opportunity to reflect His nature to the world around us.
In our world today, there are many things causing division. But it’s in times like these that we, as Christ followers, can take a stand to be more like Him. More loving and giving—more kind and patient—more willing to give up our preferences and prefer another—more like Jesus.
And it has been an amazing year of seeing people, like you, rise to the occasion to be Jesus and to put “love into action!” And we thank our great God for you!
Here’s just a couple examples of the difference your generosity has made.
The Child Sponsorship Program has increased 24% in just one year! Percentages are great, but you know what that means? It means that even more children receive a good education, regular meals at school, health insurance, and have a real hope for a better future!
Your love continues to pour into Hope for Children International School. In this past year Hope for Children Ministries has faced challenges. But Jesus has taught me to see these moments as opportunities to remain dependent on Him—and for me to see Him work through the hearts of friends like you.
When an additional $2,000 per month was needed to cover an unexpected government-mandated teacher wage increase, you stepped up and filled the gap, bringing stability to the 282 children who attend our school and bringing glory to God.
Of the 282 children enrolled in Hope for Children International School 156 students come from families who are stuck in chronic poverty and where the kids most likely would never have made it to 6th grade. Now these kids are receiving an education that will help them to succeed and compete worldwide and they will have the opportunity to impact their world for Christ!
Your generosity has also reached into this poverty-stricken community and touched the lives of the some of the most forgotten children—street children who are homeless. You helped to provide school fees, safe housing, and hot meals to kids who would otherwise be living on the street due to abuse and neglect.
We are grateful for you and your desire to be the love of Jesus to children in need. You are making a real difference!
We enter 2024 with excitement and anticipation as we ramp up to start funding our 3rd school building that will impact the lives of even more children!
I pray that as this year progresses, whether it is in the giving of your time, finances, or your preferences to be Jesus to another, that you are blessed in ways that warm your heart and draw you closer to our God who loves you more than you’ll ever truly know.
