Lies that we believe about ourselves can place us into bondage. And that’s where Niyomugabo found himself when he finally had the opportunity to attend school for the first time.
What should have been a blessing became a struggle as he began to believe that he was incapable of learning. Sadly, he finished last in his class.
But that changed when Niyomugabo transferred to Hope for Children International School! He began to excel in his studies and learned to speak English—and he learned about God’s love and grace.
Truth outshined the lie, and now Niyomugabu is thriving—even taking other children under his wing to help them learn English and do well in school.
I praise God every time I see another child’s life transformed because people like you decide to rise up and help meet their needs.
Last month, I shared how the government mandated an immediate salary increase for teachers, catching private schools like Hope for Children International School off-guard. We need to raise an additional $2,000 a month to cover teacher wages.
I’m thrilled to report that people responded, and we met our goal for January! But we have eight more months in the current school year. If you’re still praying about how you can help, I hope you’ll consider signing up to give monthly, increase your monthly giving, or give a one-time gift.
Hope for Children International School is truly changing the lives of children like Niyomugabo. He recently told me he wants to study hard and help others have a better life—"just like Hope for Children Ministries has done for me!”
Stories like Niyomugabo’s fuels my assurance that God will continue to provide for Hope for Children Ministries.
Thank you for helping these children learn about the love of Jesus and to receive an education that will open doors to future success.
I thank God for his continued provision for Hope for Children Ministries through friends like you.
God bless,
