Hope for Children International School is a ray of light for so many children—including those who are homeless.
They come to us for help. They have no family, no home, and nowhere to go.
They don’t attend school because they spend their days foraging for food. They sleep wherever they happen to be. They live in groups for safety. They have no help from adults who have either neglected them or have died.
We make a deal with the kids who are motivated to change their circumstances. The ministry agrees to provide for their basic needs including food, shelter and school supplies if they agree to go to public school. Should they become sponsored, we can enroll them at Hope for Children International School.
The homeless boys pictured above accepted our offer, and I’m so excited to share that all five of them have progressed to the next grade! These boys have experienced success for the first time in their lives. They are proud of their accomplishments. They know what it feels like to have hope and be loved.
Hope for Children Ministries is like a city on a hill to these kids. They are drawn to the light and goodness of Jesus and the love we have for His kids.
I want to share more stories like this at our Benefit Night for Hope for Children Ministries on Sunday, August 11, from 6:30-8:00pm at Southbrook Church, 11010 W. Saint Martins Road in Franklin, Wisconsin.
The Benefit will be a night of thanksgiving and praise for what God has done—and continues to do—through people who give to support Hope for Children Ministries. Together, we will thank and praise God through song, stories, and giving toward a Junior High building to accommodate the kids moving to a higher grade level.
Thank you for your prayers and unwavering support. I hope you will join me August 11 so I can share with you the difference you’re making in the lives of these kids.
