Family Details Vital loves donuts and lives with his dad and mom. He has four older siblings who are married. His father is a genocide survivor who lost his first wife, all his children as well as most of his extended family in the 1994 genocide. Vital's dad is elderly at 80 years old with health problems and is unable to work to support his family now. The family struggles to provide even basic needs such as food, clothes, or school fees.

 Gitego Vital is anxiously waiting for a sponsor, that he may grow spiritually, emotionally and socially.
